Taking Hazel Eyes and Making them Aqua With Focus Monthly Soft Colors

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how well the Focus Monthly Aqua contacts work for hazel eyes? Will they turn your eyes aqua or some aqua/hazel mutation? Aquel? Haqua?

Alright, I'm being serious now. Seriously.

I've never had a problem with them and my eyes are dark, but I have heard some negative comments about the resulting colour. Although, I'm not sure if they're true or not.

Hi Tigger. I'm glad you enjoyed the mutant names. Why not post a picture of your fine self with the contact lenses in and let the Lens 101 Posse decide? If you look around the site I think you'll find that most of the comments are polite. Nobody's really mean, here.

If you're asking if color contacts can change the color of your eyes permanently, the answer is no, they can't, unless something really bad happens.

I have hazel eyes and use the aqua lens most days. It makes my eyes a lovely dark green, darkening them slightly but only a small amount. The lens is thin and very comfortable (if its the right BC for you). One thing though, because the colour goes over your pupil as well your iris, your vision is slightly darkened. I don't notice this when I'm wearing them, only as I take them out I realised the world is slightly brighter then I thought!

Interesting. So the contact lenses dim your vision slightly when you wear them? I've never heard that before. Does everything have a tint, like wearing sunglasses?
