Default Tips For Contact Lens Care
Here's something I found about having a healthy relationship between your eyes and your contact lenses.

1. Always wash your hands before handling them.

2. Carefully and regularly clean them, as directed by your optometrist. Rub the contact lenses with your fingers and rinse before soaking the lenses overnight in enough multi-purpose solution to completely cover them.

3. Store your contacts in the proper storage case and replace the case at least every three months. Clean the case after each use, and keep it open to dry.

4. Use only products recommended by your eye doctor to clean and disinfect your contacts. Saline solution and re-wetting drops are not designed to disinfect.

5. Never re-use old solution. Contact lens solution must be changed according to the manufacturer's recommendations, even if the lenses aren't used daily.

6. Always follow the recommended replacement schedule prescribed by your optometrist.

7. Remove contact lenses before swimming or entering a hot tub.

8. See your optometrist for your regularly scheduled contact lens fitting and eye exam.
