Default Good Frequency 55 Review

Doing a little research, I have found that Frequency 55 contacts are good for first-time contact lens wearers and people who have dry eyes. What do you think about them?

Cool fequency 55- first time user

Well this is my first time ever to try contact lenses and had trouble adjusting for the first few hours as some things looked blurred but gradually got better. I cannot compare to any other contacts as this is my first.

Thank you I2I. It's good to get a personal review. It's been almost a year since you wrote this post. Are you still wearing Frequency 55 contacts? Have you tried any others for comparison?

Oh yeah? Why did you stop wearing the Frequency 55 contact lenses? Did you want to switch to color contacts?

Hi I2I. What kind of color contacts are you wearing these days? How about if you go to that section and post a picture there? I'd like to see how good they look on you.

I looked at those pictures of people with FreshLook ColorBlends, but I didn't see any pictures of you, I2I. I like seeing what the people on Lens 101 look like with their contacts in.

You don't have to post pictures of yourself if you don't want to, but everybody's different. Having pictures of other people isn't the same as having a picture of you. There doesn't seem to be any pictures on Lens 101 of people who wear Frequency 55 contacts here.

Sorry, I got confused. This section is about Frequency 55 (clear) contacts, but you said you stopped wearing those and switched to FreshLook ColorBlends, right? Those might be worth seeing, but if you don't want to put up any pictures, that's fine.

Poor I2I. Sorry you've been hounded to post pictures. It's just a common reaction when someone posts and says "I wear color contacts." The natural reaction seems to be "Let's see them!"
I understand your reluctance, though. It's one thing to wear your FreshLook ColorBlends around your friends and family, and quite another thing to post them on a public forum for anyone to see. You never know who will see them!

Maybe you should try a different color. FreshLook ColorBlends come in 12 different shades of fun! True Sapphire looks nice.

Of course, it's recommended that you wear them in both eyes.

Says here you're in the Houston area. I've not had the pleasure of visiting the great state of Texas, but I hope to someday. Does the heat and humidity bother your contacts at all?
I just checked the weather there and at the time of this posting Houston is experiencing 82% humidity in the 83 degree air. Time to crank up the AC!

the only thing that bothers me is the sweat getting in my eyes. and the dust in the wind. sunglasses helps in keeping the dust out including the bright sunlight.

Marytamm's right. If everyone looked the same in X brand contact lenses, then we could just put up drawings and it should be the same look for everyone, right?

This is a drawing of what FreshLook ColorBlends Gray contacts look like:

Is that how they look when you wear them?

So the humidity is not a factor, huh? Just the temperature in the air making you sweat, right?

right! i dont think humidity affects the contacts that i can notice. dust in the air on the other hand does give me problems. and the cold does have a slight affect. its a little dry during cold days but i use rewetting drops to alleviate the dryness.

How "cold" does it get in the Houston area?

Don't be surprised if members from the Midwest chime in and laugh at you.
