Default Trouble With Close Up Vision in Frequency 55 Contacts

Do have trouble seeing a computer screen or a menu in your contact lenses? Does that mean you need bifocals?

Yes i do have that problem at times. What i do when it does happen is wait for my eyes to adjust and blink a few times. It seems to correct it.

Hello I2I. It's been a while since you posted this. How are things with the Frequency 55s?

Things are great except I no longer use the Frequency 55 Toric lenses. I now use colored contacts (Freshlook Colorblends Gray Toric lenses by Ciba Vision). I have to admit the F55 toric lenses have sharper vision but I do love my toric colored contacts. So that is what I use now.

So you went with the colored contacts, huh? I'm glad you like them. Would you like to post them here on the site so we can oo and ah?

By the way, did you know that there is someone called "eye2eye" on Lens 101? You may want to see if you can help this person with some of their questions.

Peace.

So you've got these cool colored contact lenses that you presumably wear in public, but you're not going to let your pals at Lens 101 see them? That doesn't sound very fair to me.

It's good that you found a contact lens brand that you like - But I'm not clear on whether you settled into using bifocal lenses or not?

Sorry I'm not that familiar with those brand names to recognize if they're bifocals.

Are these bifocal contact lenses, as the first question mentioned? Is it even possible to get bifocal color contacts?

FreshLook ColorBlends contacts you mean? I don't think they come in bifocal flavor. The only bifocals that CibaVision makes according to lens.com are Hydrocurve II Bifocal.

They also manufacture Focus Dailies Progressives and Focus Progressives, but I don't think those are bifocals, are they?

I'm not sure, but I thought I saw a few examples of colored bifocals at lens.com.

I think we've gone off on another direction, but I'll try and help.

I went to lens.com and looked at all of their bifocal contacts, but did not find any that came in any color other than clear. Maybe you can try it and see if you can find anything: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department94.asp
