Blue or Amethyst for Dark Hair?

If you have dark eyes and dark hair, one website suggested a blue or amethyst color. What do you think?

I think greys or greens for dark hair! but out of those two Id go with amys as blue is very common

I have tried almost every color of ColorBlends. Gray and green are definitely the best even with dark skin and hair.

It seems like both of you like gray and green for dark hair. Lollie you said you liked amethyst better than blue if you had to choose between those two, right? Blue is too common, you say?

I wish we had photos up of the lenses and hair combinations you're referring to.

I think that the color of the skin tone would also play an important part in the overall choice. Also, maybe the shape of someone's face, too.

I agree that the skin tone would be a factor in choosing the color of contact lenses, but I'm not sure about the face shape. How would that determine what color contacts to get? I think the shape of your face would be more useful for choosing a pair of sunglasses.
