Default Freshlook Colorblends in One Base Curve Only?

I was checking out some websites that sell FreshLook ColorBlends and it looks like they're only available in one base curve. (Looks like 8.6 is it.) Doesn't that exclude a lot of people who wear a different base curve? Does your BC have to be exactly 8.6 to wear ColorBlends?

Hi timetraveler,

I was surfing the Internet and looking for something else when I came across something I thought might answer your question about FreshLook ColorBlends.
See, these contacts are made of a very flexible material, which means that if the fit isn't quite right, the lens will adjust and still fit comfortably.
There is a stiffer material that contacts are made of, but with this less flexible material, the lens will be uncomfortable if the fit isn't exactly right. So, if you can make a contact lens in one size and it will not only fit people who are that exact size but even a few that are close, it just makes it that much easier to fit more people.

Thank you, MaraJade. That makes a lot of sense. I appreciate your time.
