Hi miriam87. What a pretty name. Welcome to Lens 101. I'm glad to read that you like this site alooooooot. Did you find it with a search for FreshLook ColorBlends?

If you go to this page here -- http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens254.asp -- you will see all the colors available to you for ColorBlends. They have Gray and Sterling Gray and I'd say the Gray is darker. In blue they have (besides just "Blue") True Sapphire, Turquoise and Brilliant Blue. Check them out and tell us what you think!

Hi miriam87. I see you've met Kyleden.

You're right about trying to write in English rather than Arabic. My Arabic's a bit rusty.

Poke around this site a little more. There are not a lot of pictures of real, live people wearing contacts lenses, but there are some, and maybe they can be of help to you. Good luck.

Wow. What are the odds of two people with Egyptian backgrounds being in the same thread on an American website? Isn't the Internet great?

Peezdispenser89, those contact look really good on you. The picture is not an extreme closeup, but I can still see how the work.

Mariam87, when will we see your picture?

Hi, miriam87. Can we help you find some blue lenses to try?

Since we're here in the FreshLook ColorBlends category, you should take a look at these contacts at Lens.com. They brought us this website called Lens 101 and so I think we should look at what they have to offer.

For blue, they have Blue, True Sapphire, Turquoise and Brilliant Blue. Here are some pictures of what these contacts look like, but they may look different in your eyes. Ask your eye doctor if you can get a free sample pair. A lot of doctors do this for their patients.

Here's the link: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens254.asp

While you're there at Lens.com, feel free to browse the Color Contacts section and see if you can find anything else you like.

Wow. Those are nice. I've never really thought about gray eyes. I usually like blue eyes or brown ones, but the gray look really nice on you. Unlike many contacts I've seen on this site, I can't see any of your natural color from the pupil hole. Good choice Peezdispenser89.

In the smaller picture it looks like you're laughing. Hopefully not laughing your AO. The seems to happen a lot.

SORRY lmaoo I know I say Lmao a lot haha. I guess you can say I'm a really perky person lmao.

I know, I used to go for the blue acuvue colored contacts but they looked too bold and fake. Then when I went onto the Freshlook site saw they had a new gray color and after trying it i loved it. It has a tint of blue in it. And you can normally make out the pupil hole when someone's natural eye color is in the center but I have naturally oversized pupils so you can't tell lucky for me lmao!

I'm glad you found something you like. It looks like you're pretty pleased.

By the way . . . why don't you try "ROTFL"? Your favorite phrase seems a bit . . . well, crude . . . for a lovely lady such as yourself.

Those contact look good on you, Peezdispenser89. I think the sterling gray suits you, although your natural brown eyes look nice, too.

Habibti, may I suggest you research the Solotica brand from Brazil.
They have 3 wonderful ranges and many colours within those ranges.
A nice grey/blue is called Quartzo.
They work the best on dark eyes!
The iris opening is smaller than most other brands so they look more natural.
You are welcome to message me for more information as I do not get a chance to come to the boards very often.

, and am not here to promote these lenses cuz I sell them like some people.....but...they truly are beautiful .....I had difficulty ordering them from two websites and Amazon was the only site that helped me and i got the correct order. I have Mel and Ocre but Quartzo and grafite are beautiful blue greens

They work the best on dark eyes!
The iris opening is smaller than most other brands so they look more natural.
You are welcome to message me for more information as I do not get a chance to come to the boards very often.
Of heard of those Solotica lenses before. Aren't they rather expensive? Are they really that much better than FreshLook ColorBlends?

I checked on the prices of FreshLook Color Blends and on Lens.com they are about $30 for a box of six lenses.

For Solotica the price listed is--are you ready . . . $35.50--per lens!

I dunno, those contacts had better look pret-ty darn good for them to charge that much. Here's a side-by-side comparison. Soloticas on the left, ColorBlends on the right.

Default Solotica Azul

I got a factory sample of the naturals range in Azul as a re-seller and felt it was too dark and nothing like the other colours which are much more natural looking.
You would be much happier with Topazio which looks awesome!

People need to remember they are a premium lens, annuals and the freight from Brazil is super expensive which ultimately the consumer pays for.
They are one of the very best coloured lens on the market.
