I don't really like this color at all. Too phony looking, but on some people it may look good. Good thing it was a free sample. The top is the aqua, and the bottom is my natural color.

Here is a collage of colors I tried so far. Top is aqua, next is natural color, then blue, then green, then brown. I LOVE the cb blue, cb green and cb brown. Next to try is honey and pure hazel. I know pure hazel will look like almost nothing on my eyes, but I want to get one that is almost like nothing anyway, lol. I will do a new collage when I get all of the colors. I'm not sure if I should try amythest though. Violet did nothing on me but change my eyes to a scary light blue.

If you want to know which ones I liked best, my vote is for the brown lenses. |

well...I'm kind of shy about posting my whole face, but maybe I will get the nerve to do it soon. I had an online stalker once, and I guess it kind of scared me. Also, I forgot to say that on the brown eyes, I am wearing makeup, and I took the other colors/pictures without makeup. Later on, after taking the blue/green pics, I put makeup on the eyes, and the effects of those colors was much nicer. I will try to post more pics with makeup on when I get a chance. I have severe dry eye, and after intensive treatment, and a promise to my optometrist that I will not sleep in lenses anymore, he is allowing me to wear them again, provided I do the eye treatments in the morning and night without the lenses in. He also advised me not to wear makeup unless I am going out in public, lol. When I get the money, I plan to look for hypoallergenic makeup for the eyes. Sorry if I went off topic, but that may be one of the reasons why the brown look nicer, but I DO personally prefer the brown above the rest, only because it matches my skin tone and hair color better. The blue/green enhancers only make me look scary, so I don't like it when the advertisements always seem to lean towards light eyed people only wearing enhancers rather than opaques. I have written to the freshlook company to tell them that maybe some light eyed people PREFER to darken their eyes. No response yet, lol!

I agree with the Herb King. We'd like to see your eyes along with your lovely face Ziggy, but if you're not comfortable with that, I think we understand. Don't we Lens 101 Nation?

You know, I ordered some contact lenses that had the same effect. I believe they were Expressions accents in evergreen but the were very AQUA not green at all. Just an FYI to anyone out there who is interested. Here are some pictures, first my natural eye color and then the contacts.

Let's also try to remember that this is the FreshLook ColorBlends section. I can see how sookieismine's comments can lead Lens 101 members off the path to the Expressions Accents, but let's keep it straight, okay? People are going to look at the pictures, wonder what kind of lenses they are, look at the top of the page and go "Oh, they're FreshLook ColorBlends." At least, that's what I did at first. Here's a picture of a lovely young lady wearing Freshlook ColorBlends Green. I'd prefer a slightly closer look, but the picture's in focus and gives you an idea of how the contacts look with her skin and hair color. |

You know, I didn't notice it before, but this picture kind of reminds me of my Mom's eye color.

You mean the Freshlook Caribbean Aqua contact lenses?

My favorite line from that "First Contact" movie: "Borg? Sounds Swedish."

I'm afraid we've gone off on a bit of a tangent here.
You can pretty much try any brand you want at your eye doctor's office. Tell your doctor you want to try FreshLook ColorBlends and ask if you can get a free trail. Chances are you will be fitted and given some trial lenses. Maybe using the word "trial" will work better. That sounds like you're actually interested in wearing them and not just looking for a freebie. It all depends on your doctor, but you can't go wrong with "trial." |

Yeah, that's kind of strange, isn't it? I can understand why people would want to give us a good look at the lenses, but I think I can get a better sense of how they look when I can see their whole face. You know what I mean?
|

Yeah, me too. Here I was scrolling down the page, looking pictures of the Borg, then suddenly I see the Swedish Chef. It's classic.

I totally agree, Aaroncablemom. I prefer to see the person's whole face too.

Yes, for me it's better to see how the contact lenses look in relationship to their whole face. You've seen how just different color eyes make a person look totally different, right?

I agree, eyecaramba. Colored contact lenses can change a person's whole look.
