This forum (in general) has alot of posts and hardly no pictures! lol. And I saw alot of people inquiring about the hazel freshlooks on brown skin. Well, I used to wear them, so uploaded some pictures....
This is a good example for a person of color/african-american, someone's who's mixed, or very tanned. My natural eye color is dark brown-- while sometimes changing depending on the season and my mood. Still stays in shades of brown though. I chose these because alot of my cousins are dark-skinned with green eyes. They get so many compliments because it looks sort of exotic to Americans... unless you're from an island country or a place like Brazil or Australia you may not see many dark brown people with bright green eyes. Even though we're American, my cousins' parents and one of mines is Jamaican... so maybe that's where the green comes from. I received alot of compliments on them, people would always say that I looked like a barbie doll... especially teens/kids. But I just wanted something a bit closer to my natural eye-color so I stopped wearing them. These are the ones that super model Naomi Campbell wears alot as well. I hope this doesn't sound mean or give off the wrong impression, but I think attractive, well groomed dark brown/chocolate complexioned people can get away with pure hazel more easily than someone who is less than so... does that make any sense? Idk, maybe you guys will get me maybe not. PS- And if anyone is interested I have like 1-3 extra boxes of brand new unused FreshLooks Pure Hazel that I don't plan to use, let me know if you want them... |

Let me say that those contacts look really nice. The contrast between the color of the contacts and the color of your skin is very striking. Tell all your friends about Lens.com. I did and it's really fun to answer questions from people you actually know instead of strangers. ![]() |
