Please help me, how long can my contact lens last?

I bought these 3 days ago without a prescription . These are Freshlook Colorblends.

The seller told me that they would last for 3 months. However, I actually don't see any sign, word or caution on the foil or cover of the lens informing me that they will last for 3 months. I am feeling extremely worried now, what if they were designed to be used for 2 weeks but I will use them for 3 months? My eyes will be seriously damaged.

So please look at the picture of my lens and could you tell me HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?, Please help me, please it's urgent, Thank you very much!

( I had used contact lens for 6 months but I used an other brand)

Okay, first of all let me just say I have a hard time resisting the words "please help me."

Secondly, how did you get contacts without a prescription? Last time I checked, that was illegal. (Notice how it says "Rx only" right on the package?)

Third. According to the CIBA Vision website these lenses are intended to be replaced every two weeks, as you said.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Return those contact lenses from wherever you got them. If they sell them to you without a prescription and don't even know how long you can wear them for, they obviously don't know what they're doing, so who knows what's in those boxes? Hopefully you can get your money back, but with their track record so far . . .

2. After you've gotten rid of those lenses, go to your eye doctor and get an exam and a prescription.

3. Order your contact lenses from lens.com. Just click the red rectangle at the top of the page. They won't sell you contacts without a prescription or tell you that you can wear them six times longer than they were designed for.

Thank u so much for your help, I feel really angry with those sellers, they sold me those lens which are used for 2 weeks with a high price

And they told me those could be used for 3 months to earn profit

Additionally, in my country, u can buy any kind of lens u want without a prescription, even doctors don't know well abt the function or caution of contact lens, and I myself have to search info on the Internet

Could u please tell me some kinds of CIBA color contact lens which can be used for 3 months hix ?

Wow, where's this no-prescription country of yours?

As for your other question, I don't know of any contacts that are good for three months. CIBA makes Air Optix Aqua, Air Optix Night & Day Aqua, Focus Monthly Visitint and Focus Night & Day, which are all meant to be worn for one month.

They also make what are called "vial" contact lenses which can be worn for a year. CIBA has a whole mess of vial contact lenses, and you can find out more about them here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department101.asp

thanx ^^ I visited that site and found many products of CIba available, that's helpful !

According to CIBA, Freshlook Colorblends contact lens are supposed to be used for 2 weeks (daily use) before disposal, but does it mean we can use them 14 times for a longer time (4 weeks for example) if we don't use them everyday?

Could u tell me wat's the difference between those 2 kinds of Freshlook lens?

The difference between those two kinds of FreshLook lenses. FreshLook ColorBlends and what other kind of FreshLook lenses? I didn't catch the other one.

Okay, wear time. In general, 1-2 week contact lenses can be worn for 7 days if you don't take them out at night or 14 days if you give your eyes a rest while you're sleeping. If you don't wear them every day, you can wear them 14 times, as long as you don't sleep in them.

However . . . your eyes may have something special so only your eye doctor can tell you for sure how long you can wear them.

WOw, i'm feeling really happy cause u still care about me so much

.I worn those pair of contacts 14 times before discard, and now I stop wearing lens to find a more suitable colour for my eyes. The gray colour of Freshlook contact seem not suit my brown and black eyes. COuld u suggest a more natural colour for me ?

And 1 more question, if i store my contact lens in the case for a long time (3 weeks etc) without using them, do i have to change the contact solution regularly and how often? Thank u
