FreshLook Colors Opaque For Dark Brown Eyes

Do any of you have dark brown eyes and wear FreshLook Colors Opaque contacts? What color do you wear? Do they cover the brown well enough?

Mine aren't dark brown, but kind of an amber/olive green. The opaque contacts do have opaque color, but it's not solid so a lot of your natural color will show through to give a blended effect. On my eyes, green kind of disappears onto them and makes them greener. Blue looks really, obviously fake with a lot of amber showing through. Violet actually looks pretty good, some amber is visible right around the pupil. Strangely enough, the violet ones do the best job of a dramatic, natural looking change. You might look at the Colorblends instead though, from the pictures I've seen they cover a lot more of your eye color.

Sounds like you've tried quite a variety of color contact lenses.

Any chance you'll post some pictures? Lens 101 readers love pictures.

I'm starting a new thread with pictures. Hope they turn out OK, having someone photograph your eyeball isn't easy. Especially when your dachshund insists on climbing in your lap!
