Thread: Best blue/grey contacts for green eyes ?

  1. #1

Question Best blue/grey contacts for green eyes ?

I have mid-green eyes and currently use Dimensions Sea Green which give a very nice look. However, I would like to try blue or grey for a change. I want to stick with Freshlook as they suit my eyes but does anyone have suggestions as to the best contacts to use ???? I was also looking at the Colourblends ones but have used the Sapphire blue before and they were too bright - I would really like a deeper shade of blue. Pictures would be useful too !!!!! Thankyou

I have med-green eyes. Here are some pics of the differnt blue ones I have tried, they are demo's but you get the idea. I didnt like how the blue one looked on me at all! I currently wear the Caribbean Aqua dimensions and I like those on my green eyes. In the first pic is my natural eye color. second pic is left eye pacific blue dimensions, right eye CB True Sapphire. Third pic, left eye Caribbean Aqua Dimensions, Right eye CB Brilliant Blue. What do you think?

I really like the brilliant blue. I want blue contacts and can't seem to find any that look natural and that are also comfortable at the same time.

Your eyes are naturally really pretty, why do you want to change them??

Default Best blue/grey contacts for green eyes?

First of all, let me say you look good in all the pictures, although a smile would help.
Now, if I had to pick my favorite, I would have to say that the Caribbean Aqua Dimensions look the best. They don't look quite as "shocking" as the bright blue lenses, and I don't see as much of your natural color coming through.

    That's my two cents.

The Aqua looks best - not too shocking but you can see a difference

    Hi starlite239,

I think you should wear both of them. See if anyone notices that you have one blue eye and one green. That way you will know that they are looking you in the eye.

You look pretty good for someone who was tired a 2 am.

So do you get a lot of positive feedback from friends and family about your colored contacts, your son not withstanding? Here's what I consider the ultimate test of colored contacts: Have you been complimented by a stranger? (Not counting the people on this site--who all seem to like your look, by the way.)

I hope your son made good on the bet.

What's the latest, Starlite239? Do you still wear the Carribean Aqua FreshLook Dimensions?

Hey, Starlite239, where have you been? I haven't seen any new pictures lately. Do you still like the Carribean Aqua contact lenses?

Hey, Starlite. What's new? I haven't heard anything from you in a while. Have you settled on one or two colors?

It seems like you hit on something important, CoupeBabe. I think most people go for something that's "different" without being "shocking."

I love your two-tone look starlite239. Have you ever gone out and looked at people with your mismatched eyes like that? I think that sounds like fun!
