Default Extended Contact Lens Wear Causing Handling Problems

I'm curious about something. If you wear your contacts too long, say over night with contacts that weren't made for that, will that mean that when you do take them out, you'll have more difficulty getting the back in the next day?
Not that I'm going to try it, you understand. I was just wondering if that might explain why the contacts are hard to handle sometimes.

I don't know why you'd want to put that contact lens back in. If you've already worn it for too long, you should probably just throw it away and get a new pair.

Yeah, I know. I just thought that maybe if someone posts a question here about struggling to get their daily disposable contact lenses in, it may be due to the fact that they're trying to put a used contact lens back in their eye; perhaps accidentally, perhaps not. It would be nice to have that explanation available.
