I used to work with a young lady who wore glasses, probably for myopia. She once told me that without her glasses, she can't hear very well.
That's right -- no glasses mean hearing loss. How can that be? The only was I can explain it is if she is wearing her glasses and didn't catch what someone said to her, she can read their lips. If she can't see to read their lips she can't tell what they are saying. Does anyone else on this forum have trouble HEARING without their contacts? |
