According to a customer testimony, people who have switched from RGP to soft contact lenses are now switching to Hydro 02. They give the clear, crisp vision of rigid gas perm contacts, but are comparable in comfort to a soft contact lens.
Have you tried them? Are they really this good? |

Petra, I can tell you they are very comfortable for a gas permeable contact lens. The MOST comfortable I have ever worn in fact. As far as I know there are no gas permeable lenses that give you absolute comfort like a softlens. The softlens covers more of the cornea so has very little if any lid interaction, and also are not as apt to get a piece of dust like a gas perm lens can... and the speck feels like a boulder when it does get in there... So, all in all I have to say no, not as comfortable as a soft lens.. But I have the best vision I have ever had and as I said above these are the MOST comfortable Gas Perms I have ever worn and I have worn several types. CHEERS !!! Tom |
