Default Hi, new here, and I need help with air optix aqua!

I started on Air Optix Aqua about a month ago. I can where them for a day or two then my eyes will start to burn intensely and water; however, it is mostly my right eye. I did some research and found that a lot of people were having the same problems with these contacts mixed with Opti-free solution. So I switched over to the recommended Aquify and I also tried one other kind. Well the same thing happened. My friend was having the same problem, but when he switched solution he waited awhile to put the contacts back in. Am I just not giving my eyes time to heal, or should I switch contacts?

Hello sammyc, and welcome to Lens 101. If anything started to burn intensely, I would see my eye doctor. That's not something you want to mess with. So I recommend calling your doctor today and mentioning what you experienced and see what he or she says. Hopefully it's just a matter of switching solution.

How are you doing these days, sammyc? Do your eyes still burn intensely when you wear Air Optix Aqua for more than a day or two?
