I found a website talking about the Natural Touch contact lenses they are selling.
One of the points the made was this this contact lens has a "unique limbal ring" which is the black ring around the edge of the iris. This isn't unique to Natural Touch, is it? What other contacts have these? Last edited by yournamehere; 06-03-2009 at 02:17 PM.. |

From what I've researched over the years, the dark ring is unique to Natural Touch...the other colored lenses appear washed out on brown eyes or so much of the brown shows that the color looks muddy. At least that's my opinion.
If anyone knows of other colored lenses with the dark ring, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks. |

VENUS lenses from Marietta Vision also have a VERY noticeable black limbal ring arond them. I have them in the ICE BLUE -the color is very bright.I get lots of compliments on them but I do not think they are very naturel looking.

Hi Tamera,
Thanks for your reply. I checked Marietta Vision & found several selections. I'll try out the Venus lenses. my only hesitation isbuying cosmetic lenses several years ago but they were NOT natural looking. Question: what color are your eyes? have you tried other colors in addition to ICE BLUE (eg., PACIFIC BLUE or SLATE GREY)? My Natural Touch SULTRY GREY make my dark brown eyes appear blue. Thanks again & have a great day. gail (gpgreer) |

Thanks for the answer, Tamera. Would you be opposed to posting a picture of yourself wearing these contact lenses you've gotten so many compliments on?

Besides, this is a contact lens and sunglasses website, and I really don't want to go off on a photo editing tangent. The contacts look good, by the way. |

You say they're not natural looking, and that may be true, but in the picture your eyes are so big that of course the contacts don't look natural. They probably look much better in the real world. |
