So . . . how do you like the O2 Optix contact lenses? Are they easy to put in and take out? Do you feel them in your eyes?

i ordered them last year, around the time they had the recall.
they irrated my eyes, but i didn't use them that much anyways. now, because of these i stick to my glasses and only use contacts if my glasses break and i need new ones. that happened 2 weeks ago, and my eyes are now always dry and red. i've recently ordered more from lens.com, which sold me the recalled ones in the first place... we'll see how it turns out. if bug me again, i'll probably never use contacts form ciba vision again, or order from lens.com yes they're easy to take out, especially when they get really dry. they're comfortable if you dont put them on right after you wake up, usually for me about after an hour. |

Thank you everybody.
It sounds like these are pretty good contacts . . . unless you get the recalled ones. I'm sorry to hear about your experience, dragonchi. How did you know you got recalled lenses? Did you check the serial numbers or something? Strange that these recalled lenses came from lens.com. As you can see by the top of the screen, they are the sponsors of Lens 101, and I very rarely hear complaints about them. I hope you will give them another try. I'm glad the O2 OPtix work well for you. That suggestion about waiting a while after you wake up to put them in is a good one. I suppose for most people by the time they shower, get dressed and have breakfast it's time to put them in. I wish you well and I hope to hear from you again soon. Thanks for your help. |

Welcome back, dragonchi. I hope you're doing better with the Acuvue contacts. That's 1-Day Acuvue, right?

Hi dragonchi. How are things going with you and your Acuvue Dailies doing these days?
