Default A DMV 45 For Your O2 Optix Contact Lenses

Most people just use their fingers to put their contacts in, but others prefer using a tool like the DMV 45 insertion tool shown below. It's that little blue thing that looks like one of those suction cup darts that we would shoot at each other when we were kids.
Does anyone on the forum here use one of these handy tools?

Hey, dda1960. I've seen some of these threads you're talking about. There are a few asking about the DMV 45 tool, but I don't recall anyone "suggesting they use" them. As I recall, all of the posts were along the nature of "have you used this?" or "is it okay if I use this?" or "what the heck is this thing anyway?" I haven't seen one that says "you should use this thing for your soft contact lenses." My guess is that Eyerobot and the others don't really know much about these things and that's why they come to Lens 101. Let's not scare them off by ridiculing them, or making unfair accusations, okay? Can't we all play nice?
