Default Was the O2 Optix Recall About Comfort?
I'd heard bits and pieces about the recall of O2 Optix contact lenses, but I never heard exactly why. Someone said that she felt good about the company recalling the contact lens because it didn't achieve their standards for comfort.
Is that the reason O2 Optic was recalled? Comfort?

Yes, not health safety issues. It was a VOLUNTARY recall, different from a mandatory one.

Well, that's good to know. I take it that CIBA Vision has sounded the "All Clear" on this product since I'd almost forgotten about the recall?
