I asked a question about the adjustment time for monovision contacts and got no response. Perhaps I was too vague the first time. I'll try again.
The whole idea of monovision seems suspect. One eye for close vision and the other for distance. It seems strange but it works. My question is about those who experience blurred distance vision the first time they try the monovision contacts. One web site says that it takes a few days or weeks for your eyes to "relax" and cooperate. That sounds good, but is it really true? Is "relax" a good word? Are there actual muscles involved that loosen and allow for better monovision? |
