How Long Have You Been Wearing PMMA's?

PMMA's are no longer being produced, as far as I know, so there are no "new" PMMA wearers. So I was wondering about you? How long ago did you first starting wearing these?

You say PMMA lenses are no longer produced. I'm not really sure why you think this. You can click on the site sponsor's link and see they are readily available if you have a Rx. As for how long I've been wearing them, 30 years give or take. The give or take would be the times I was trying to find an RGP material that would work for me. (My Dr.'s idea not mine)

You're right, hardlens. I clicked on the lens.com button up there and sure enough, they sell PMMA contacts. They seem to be at a pretty good price, too. Who knew?

I don't know where I heard that either, hardlens. I'm sure I read it somewhere and just took it as fact. I guess you know best!

I'm glad that you can get them at lens.com, too. That's good to know.
