Be very careful when you are traveling with your contact lenses. As we all know, Now More Than Ever we need to be careful with taking liquids on board an airliner. Most airports advise passengers to put all liquids like contact lens solutions into small containers.
Go ahead and do that, but don't forget to label your containers. In the news section of Lens 101 here, there's an article about a woman who nearly blinded herself when she rinsed her contact lenses with what she thought was saline solution. Only it wasn't saline solution--it was perfume. As I said, she didn't lose her sight, but I bet she was in agony. Please . . . be careful and fly safely this summer. |
