Default Preference Monthly


People make me nuts sometimes.

Someone on another site was asking how long that can wear X brand of contact lenses and some dimwit said "It's all just a scam. Wear them as long as you want. I do."

Disposable contact lenses are NOT a "scam." They are different. Preference contacts are monthly. That means you can wear them 30 times. If you only wear your Preference contacts once a week and take good care of them, they'll last a little longer--but not forever.

Snoop around Lens 101 for a bit and see if you can find that analogy to paper plates. Its' really good.

In the mean time, be careful with your contacts, and don't wear them for longer than they're designed to be worn.

I'm so glad that Lens 101 is a place where you can get answers from people who know at least a little bit about contacts and care enough to get their facts straight before they post.
