Default How To Keep Proclear Multifocal Contact Lenses Out of the Pipes

Do you put your contacts in over the bathroom sink? I think most people do. If you do, do you worry about dropping one of your Proclear Multifocal contacts down the drain? Well, if you had one of these thingamajigs, you wouldn't have to worry so much. It fits right over the drain and catches anything that tried to escape, including rogue contact lenses.

You can also just place a paper towel at the bottom of the sink.

Well . . . you could, sure you could, of course you could, but it wouldn't look as cool.

After all the money that I have paid for these cool contacts, the paper towel method will do just fine for me. Cool cost

Touche, Veviticus. Still, these drain things are, like, two bucks; but, you do what you like. Thanks for showing me I'm not talking to myself here.

Have you checked out the prices on Lens.com?

Sorry if I sounded touche, but I am wearing my trial pair until the regular ones come in, and I am still reeling from what I had to pay.
I will be wearing a special perscription of toric in the right eye and mulitfocals in the left eye. I've gone through 6 trial pairs so it's been stressful to say the least.

I am really glad that you responded because it doesn't seem as if many people do.

I hope you don't think I meant "touchy" as in "grouchy."

If you're not just playing along with me, "touche" is a fencing term. It means "you touched me with your foil, you win this round." When you're not literally fencing it means "you have a point."

So, in plain English, you make a very good point about trying to save money where you can after you spent so much on your contact lenses.

If you are just playing along with me, you already knew all that, and I explained if for the benefit of those watching at home.

Oh well...MaraJade...no foolin, no fun!! It's just nice to be able to meet and interact with other people from different places. How are you coming along with your contacts, and how long have you been wearing them?

I found it on some website, but I think you can just get it at your local department store like K-Mart or Walgreen's or someplace like that. As MaraJade pointed out, they only cost a couple of bucks and they're not hard to find, but they're good to have!

Yes, ICU2, you're right. I've seen these drain screen thingees at CVS, too. As you said, they're not hard to find.
