Hi Curt,

I don't know very much about RGP contact lenses, but you may want to look at lens.com which sponsors this web site. All you have to do is go to the top of this page and click on the invitingly large red banner in the corner. They have a pretty good selection and the prices are hard to beat.

Let me know if you find what you're looking for, OK?

Hi LittleElvis

Thanks for the information re. Lens.com. By logging onto it, I found out that Bausch & Lomb do make both a GP and a soft Multi-focus lens that may be applicable to people with karatoconia! I'm now checking this out with my contact lens specialist/opthalmologist.

BTW, we just returned from Las Vegas where we saw Big Elvis perform at Bill's Gambling Hall on The Strip. He was great! Any relation?

I'm glad to found a lead on the lenses that you need, curt. Is karatokenia a very common affliction?

And by the way, I'm wondering why the performer is called "Big Elvis"? Just a question...

Hi Ricardo

No, the eye disease isn't very common. Researchers seem to think it may be linked somehow to psoriasis (which I also have)...

"Big Elvis" in Las Vegas weighs over 300 lbs!

Curt,

Fantastic! I'm always glad when I can help someone with their contact lens needs. That's why I'm here. Please let me know how it goes with lens.com. I want to make sure they treat you right.

As for relationships to anyone named Elvis, I'm not aware of any. There actually is a kid (probably in Las Vegas) who calls himself "Little Elvis," but I've only seen him on TV.
