Were PureVision Multi-Focal Contacts Your First?

Were you one of those who never needed vision correction until you reached "a certain age" and then you needed multi-focal contacts?

Not sure if i'm answering the question but having worn contacts for an active lifestyle then having it "cramped" by switching between bifocal glasses and toric contacts, having learned about multifocals was a godsend.

I actually found out about them from someone at the doctor's as i told him i would just settle for distance contacts and go with reading glasses as i thought my eyes were drying out too fast with the toric contacts (one eye) but was told it may just because i'm on the computer over 8 hrs a day i may not be blinking enough. So not wanting to return my distance contacts, i ordered the multifocals as the trial pair i was reading were so comfortable and my vision was very good in the mid range, far and near within 6-8 inches is still blurred.

I'm glad you found something that's comfortable. Let us know if that 6-8 inch area comes into focus okay?
