Those of you who wear toric contact lenses know that they are weighted so they will not rotate in the eyes and screw up your vision. Fine, bit I heard a new "twist" on this fact.

I heard that when you get toric contact lenses for the first time, even if they fit perfectly they still have a tendency to move around a bit until they "settle." This process can take up to two weeks. Is this true? So you have to walk around with blurred vision for two weeks until your contacts "settle" and if they don't, THEN you see your eye care professional? Isn't there a better way?
