Can you wear monthly contact lenses while skydiving?

While we're at it, can you wear glasses while skydiving?

I presume you wear goggles, so maybe a bit like a motor bike, except going in the vertical direction .

Oh, and welcome to the forum Skydiving.

I saw a video clip on TV where a woman's dentures fell out while skydiving. Can that happen with contacts?

So we have a member called "skydiving" huh? What do you know about glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses?

I looked at that site, and it looks cool, but there's about 8,000 miles of rocks and lava between me and New Zealand where this company is located.
In the "what is supplied" section of this site, it mentions "comfortable goggles designed to wear over glasses and contact lenses" so I guess you can wear contacts while plummeting toward terra firma at a terminal velocity of over 120 miles per hour.

Have you ever considered a career in advertising, Logopolis?

I guess since they specifically mentioned contact lenses on the website, they must have had customers before who had to wear goggles to protect them.

I guess you could call this forum a kind of advertising, couldn't you? So, yes I have considered a career in advertising. I think of I were to advertise for a skydiving company though, I might have some loud rock music playing and say something like "Thrill to the sensation of hurtling through the air at over one hundred miles an hour!"

That last part would have to have some kind of echo effect or something.

If I were advertsing PureVision contacts, I might say "Thrill to the sensation of wearing Purevision contact lenses while hurtling through the air at over one hundred miles an hour!"
