I'll respond. That's a good idea. Lens 101 should totally do that. :)

Really? All 18 posts?
How many of you are wearing your REM glasses in your Facebook photo? You know, the one that identifies you as the star of the page?
Anybody out there who wears glasses because they inherited their poor eyesight from one of their parents? Which parent? Did you thank them for their gift?
Is that the brand name for these glasses? Reflections? Not very inspired, is it?
It looks like these Ray-Ban Youth glasses come in one of three designer colors: black, red or blue. Which color do you like best, and why?
Does anybody out there in Forum-land have special lenses in their Rawlings glasses? Bi-focal, multi-focal, anything like that?
Look at the inside of the left temple of your Randy Jackson glasses. See some numbers and a small square? That's got something to do with the size of the glasses, but I can't crack the code. Can...
Here's hoping you get the vavoom! you seek. :)
Wow, Tcetin. I hope you're able to get around all those restrictions and get some good lenses.
You can check the price on daily lenses on Lens.com right here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/department96.asp
Let us know what you think of the prices.
I hope you like the green lenses, Joyti. What about the contact lenses offered at Lens.com? A lot of people say they can't compete with Waicons, but you might see something you like for less money...
Thanks for joining the discussion, FishFries. I hope that you and Burch1 will soon be telling us about your problems being solved.
Did you answer your own question, or was this just a set-up for you to advertise?
That depend on your choice and how long you want to wear lenses or, to put it another way, how often you want to replace them. Some people hate throwing a way a pair of contact lenses after only...
Thanks for letting us get a feel for what it's like to wear contact lenses. I'm glad you mentioned sunglasses too. Don't forget that Lens 101 has a sunglasses section as well.
I think the best course of action is to wear your contact lenses according to what your eye doctor says. The manufacturer's instructions are only general guidelines.
Let us know how the re-check goes, and if you find out what brand you've been given.
We look forward to hearing from you again, chris s.
It looks as though you got some good advice, except maybe that rather odd post by shwetadhamija02. I think he or she misunderstood your question.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Valhalla. I wish your story had a happy ending, though. What do you plan to do next? Are you done with colored contact lenses?
I hope those suggestions were helpful. Please let us know.
I agree with luvbostonxo2's, kadiej. See if you can exchange that cleaning solution.
I'm with you, Garfiled21. Those are the words of Mon Mothma in Episode IV: A New Hope.
According to another thread in Lens 101 about the same thing (Did you see this?): "Focus Monthly Visitint contact lenses will be discontinued as of July 1, 2010. The manufacture’s recommended...
What was it like when you first tried the Visitint lenses ten years ago? Were they comfortable right away?
According to another thread in Lens 101 about the same thing (Did you see this?): "Focus...
I know this is getting a bit off track, but how can everyone be special? It's kind of a contradiction to say "You're special, and so is everyone else" isn't it?
I agree though, that there are...
Okay, that's fine, but the question was "Would you say that when you travel overnight, that your Boston RXD contact lenses are an item that you must have?"
So RGP lenses would be an ever better option.
What do you think, kleerkqueen60?
I'm glad you gave us such a good report. It sounds like you have your cleaner. What do "esc" and "csc" stand for, though?
Hi kirstaaayx. Do you think you could go to your eye doctor and get a sample pair or two? That's probably the only way to really be sure which color looks best on you. I'd like to post some pictures...
So what's true information? How would you re-state that post from Jesterhester to make it accurate?
I think we're all in agreement here. Let's hope this thread changes some people's contact lens experience for the better.
Two good answers here, and I just want to agree with both of them. I've read a lot of posts on Lens 101 from people who use Clear Care and love it. It's definitely worth a try.
Secondly, there's a...
Wow. Are your contacts preventing you from using punctuation, too? :) JK
I doubt if you're out of options for wearing contact lenses. Hopefully your eye doctor has one or two brands in mind to try...
That's great to know. Rhodes95. Lens 101 does it again. Thanks for the suggestion, Devvo.
That sounds like just the thing, jan781. I hope you'll let us know what happens.
Search this site. There are some posts that explain exactly how to post a picture. Don't be embarrassed. We were all technology virgins at one time! :)
Thank you for telling us about your experience, FScott. I'm glad things are going well for you so far. Keep us posted. I think other glaucoma/cataract patients will find this post helpful and...
Oh, right. Paypal instead of the credit card. I think that's what packman wanted to know.
What's the latest, SoniaF? Have you tried any new brands lately?
It's possible that you need to get your prescription adjusted in order to see clearly. Sometimes it takes a few "tweaks" to get it right.
If it helps, I think a lot of the cons of wearing RGP lenses will not be an issue once you learn how to wear them comfortably. Maybe you still need a little more practice.
I was going to say something about your "random capitals" but since some of them are in words like "competitive shooting" and "target," I'm going to leave you alone. :D
Awesome. For anyone else who might have giant pictures to post, how did you trim your down?
You might like to delete some of those giant pictures so it people can find your reply faster. You may...
Wowee, sylvia. Those have got to be some of the greenest eyes I've ever seen. Do you have any Evergreen lenses of your own? Forgive me if you already said so. This thread is getting so long that just...
So would you be willing to try the gas perm lenses?
Good question, tom jones. Aren't RGP lenses like Boston XO2 custom made?
I hope Lens 101 has been helpful in your quest to learn all you can about contact lens materials.
I think you're right, Ragnarox. That's why this site is called "Lens 101." "101" for "beginner."
You seem to have 23 posts now, so how about that video?
I think in the instance that you quoted, "we" means "the people of Lens 101." As in "they did hint that they are working on expanding North America market, but to what extent the people of Lens 101...
Yeah, "Hotchick" also used the word "overprotective." How is that an "attack"?
That's all we ask for. A chance to give our members a happy ending.
I found a website called exprsscontacts.com that explains it like this:
HYDRACLEAR™ is the "science" inside this lens... a remarkable moisture rich element that acts as an internal wetting agent...
Would you happen to know what this color-changing procedure is called, sylvia?
Maybe that's what the "ColorBlends" name means.
Yeah, I like those "smoky" eyes. Do you suppose she's wearing contacts?
Yes, I suppose a 1% reduction on oxygen flow can be called a "deficiency."
Luvbostonxo2's mentioned trial lenses. Those should be pretty easy to get.
You've cracked the code, Steuhrob.
Yes, I hear that the effect of those CRT lenses wears off in only a few hours.
"Leaking into their irises." Does that mean the dark eyes show through the Soleko Queen's Solitaire lenses?
I get it! :D
I guess I had you fooled then. ;)
So a "sig" is a gun, then?
How can you resist those eyes and that wagging tail?
Nakedeyes is right. Bring your posts here, even if they're not in the right section.
Just . . . keep the spam.
Too bad Plexiglass doesn't make soft windows.
That's easy. Lens.com!
So what did Kinky think of her new eyes? Did she approve?
What part of America are you from Enzo? What kind were your old lenses and what kind are the new ones?
Rot cheer: http://www.allaboutvision.com/buysmart/eye-drops.htm
Do you mean "one would have expected that sort of thing . . . " 321contacts?
Ah, another pretty girl in this thread.
Well . . . a girl with pretty hair anyway.
Thank you for the list, Columbia. I think Lens 101 users will find it helpful.
It's hard to say anything about surgery until you have an actual diagnosis.
Did you know that there's a website called "Eyewiki"? I just found out. Check this out:
"Strabismus surgery is...
Wikipedia defines strabismus as "a condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned with each other. It typically involves a lack of coordination between the extraocular muscles, which prevents...
That's a great idea. I wonder how often that actually happens? Did you ever ask your ECP for emergency contacts?
Those would have to be pretty awesome lenses to be $500 a pair, but it just proves that point even more that having surgery to change your eye color is very expensive--in more ways than one.
How did you like those lenses once you got them?
Sorry about the trouble you've been having. I don't know very much about RGP lenses, but I'm guessing that cleaning them with Dawn dish soap would be okay if you make sure you rise thoroughly. I...
They look pretty similar to me. They both look nice. Is there different lighting in those pictures or something? I notice there are two pictures that say "Ice" and two that say" Quartzo" and so on,...
I guess atryec can wipe "Win" from her Things to Do whiteboard.
Maybe they scrubbed the launch and T-15 minutes and will pick it up again another day at that point. Can they do that?
It might just be a combination of two pictures taken on different days.
I'm afraid those mysteries cannot be answered in this contact lens forum, Droopy.
Yeah, how can someone who loves cats be creepy?
Could be an allergic reaction to something, maybe the cleaning solution.
"Sometimes allergies can cause other eye symptoms such as swelling, redness, wateriness and puffy eyelids, for which OTC...
Thanks, BettyBoop. We need more threads like that which will tell us what lenses can be substituted for another. I wonder if there are any contact lens brands out there that are so unique that...
Haven't you heard of antivenin? It's something given to snake bite victims that's actually made of snake venom.
That's not the point, really. The point is that someone wanted to know how much air...
You're right, Cheezhed. Now let's get back to the original question. Who can tell us about the inversion mark on PureVision Toric lenses?
Interesting. So does that mean that eBay does not allow contact lenses to be auctioned on their site?
That works for me, Banditcat, but what about this thread? What's going to happen now?
Now Anthanxan, that would be unethical. Besides, do you know how difficult it is to obtain a decent DNA sample for a clone without the girl knowing?
Yeah, that's about the size of it, Autonation.
Plastic is waterproof, isn't it? It's doesn't absorb moisture.
http://www.seenobjects.org/images/mediumlarge/2005-06-28-local-news.jpg
I'm not sure the plastic contact lens case will absorb...
I sure hope that means more pictures. :-)
That's cool, but I buy things in dollars. :)
I'm not sure I'd want to buy something like contact lenses on eBay though, pounds or dollars. Are those being sold by an eye doctor or contact lens...
Good for you, LizawithaZ! Two weeks well-spent I'd say. Enjoy those contact lenses and the new clarity you have. Go watch a sunset or your favorite movie.
I wonder if wearing contact lenses makes your cornea less sensitive? I though I'd heard of people saying that once they got used to wearing contact lenses they can touch their eyeballs no problem,...
