That's right, Teodor. There are contact lens specialists out there, and it might be just what Katriina needs.

Your contact lens prescription is the same as your glasses? That doesn't sound right. I thought I read here that the contact lens prescription isn't as strong because they're sitting right on your...
Shhhh! Don't let the sponsors hear you say that. ;)
Those big brown eyes look pretty good to me, and I think green or blue would suit her as well.
I'm your grandpa had a good experience with laser surgery. If you don't mind me asking, what it just corrective surgery so he wouldn't need glasses any more, or did he have cataracts or something?
Thank you for sharing that review with us. I like the waterfall on that page.
I found this on a helpful site called "All About Vision."
"Always wash your hands before removing contact lenses. If you are standing in front of a sink, use a clean paper towel to cover the...
While checking on contact lens information for you, I found a website that explains all about color contact lenses in general. Maybe this information will help you to find the right lenses for you:
...
FreshLook ColorBlends come in -8 power and are available at Lens.com. As for Acuvue, there's a whole list of Acuvue lenses at Lens.com. There's four different kinds of 1-Day Acuvue alone. Do you have...
I hope you'll let us know what your eye doctor says about gas perms for you.
I like to make my lenses as inconspicuous as possible. Therefore I get small frames and I don't notice any problems with peripheral vision. If I want to look at something to the side, I'll most...
This is a close-up of a hinge, but you can see the purple coloring.
Check out www.tricare.mil. I tried to look it up myself but the page took forever to load. Maybe you'll have better luck.
I like glasses that are subtle; almost like I'm not wearing glasses at all.
I don't care what the company calls them. It's not like they have a label on the temple that says "Fifi" or anything. How can a bully beat you up for wearing girly glasses if they're girly in name...
How's this? "A lens that can bend parallel light rays to a focal point of 1 meter is said to have a power of 1 diopter (1.00D). A 2-diopters lens can focus light rays at a point 0,5 meters away from...
I'm not allergic to anything as far as I know, but I have known people who can't wear metal jewelry because of allergies. I think they get a rash on their skin where the metal touched it.
I searched for Ray-Ban Aviator 3244 sunglasses and I did find a pair with blue lenses like that, but it said they were discontinued.
Thank you Loren. That was a very helpful post.
I'm not an eye doctor, but there are a few on this site. Unless one of them answers today, I would advise you to call your doctor and tell him or her what you can do to prepare your eyes for that...
I would, but that's jsut me. Maybe you can share your observation directly with the Webmaster, although I would not know how to tell you to do that.
RGP lenses are pretty small. If I'm not mistaken, any soft lens would have a larger diameter than a rigid lens.
That looks like pretty good advice to me, tricity. What do you think about it, Simon Joseph?
Do you always have to soak your contacts before you wear them, or is that just Soloticas?
Are you still seeing those circles, fleming?
Have your questions been answered here, Simon Joseph?
Infabeam is described on Wikipedia as "an e-commerce company headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. It is an online retailer for books, electronics, and automobiles in India." I didn't see sunglasses...
How about this guy? Does he look good in eye glasses?
We love you Garth. Party on.
So, speaking as an eye care professional, what is your opinion of Lens 101?
I hate to say it, but I don't really like the idea of contact lenses. I'm too scared to let something touch my eyes. Do you have any advice?
Hi victor81435. It's nice to know that you're kind.
What's going on, manly? Talk to us.
How many posts did you have to make to get rid of that banner? Just one? I'm glad you decided to join us.
What's new these days, ravenj? Have you tried Oasys or Biofinity?
It's been about a month now, Blindjonny. How are you doing?
What's true? That thing that MillersLastChance said about "as we get older we begin to have trouble seeing far away and close up"?
How's it going, googoodoll? Have you posted any of those question you mentioned? What about that laser eye surgery? Are you going to go for it?
So what happened when you went back to your eye doctor? Did you get those Oasys lenses to fit comfortably?
Thank you for that quotation. I hope that johnparsons found it helpful.
Contact lenses have come a long, long way in the last ten years. If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to give them another try. There are a lot of different options for soft lenses now and...
It's been a while since I tried answering your question, blakjava. Do you still wear only one contact lens?
Hi, Tobia. Thank you for the introduction. It seems as though you have a history with contact lenses and could be very helpful in answering questions on this site. I hope you will look around and see...
I just found this post you added yesterday. Did you get your lens out? If so, how did you do it? What happened when you moved it around your eye? Did it just stick there?
Welcome back, DejaVu.
I didn't find anything that categorically stated that Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism has an inversion "OK" mark, Lens.com seems to point out that mark whenever possible. I think LP39A was just giving a...
Didn't you say earlier that the dot is laser inscribed? When you said that I thought you meant that Polymer Technology puts those dots on their Boston lenses in the factory. So a Boston contact lens...
This question as not as simple as it seems at first.
What do you think of the color contact lenses offered at Lens.com? They're not as expensive as Soloticas and they're shipped from the United States, you won't have to wait a long time to get them.
Welcome aarinoliver. I'd be happy to give you more information, but I don't know what you mean by "is this self for eyes or not"?
When I looked up "NYC blepharoplasty" the first name to come up was...
Here's hoping your novel has a happy ending. :)
Ooo, someone thinks your eyes are dreamy chaserracer! Maybe you don't need color contacts after all.
If those vials are still visible sealed, you may just have a sale. I hope you're able to find a buyer.
Thank you for sharing your expertise once again. I hope mtcoco82 finds your post to be helpful. Would you recommend one particular brand to him/her? (I'm tempted to say "her" because of that "doing...
I think your optometrist might be right.
It could be that you need to have the prescription adjusted because it's not quite right yet.
I think you'll find a helpful answer here: http://www.lens101.com/general-contact-lens-care-questions/3665-traveling-air-contact-lens-solution.html
Check out that thread and don't spare the props.
Looks like you got some good advice from one of our resident experts, Raye21050. Let us know how you're doing with cleaning those wolf lenses.
This wolf seems to have rather ordinary grey eyes,...
There are some reports of similar problems from others on this site. Unfortunately, not many people who post here about their problems come back and tell us what solutions they have found. I hope...
Greetings to you, Mtcoco. I'm sorry you're having a problem, but I'm glad you found Lens 101. You want to know the difference between Air Optix Aqua Multifocal and . . . you said "B&L Multisoft,"...
Some people only wear one contact lens if they only need correction in one eye. Others wear a lens to read in one eye and a different lens in the other eye to see far with.
I would recommend that...
The color is a little intense, but they still look natural. Certainly not "creepy." Those "weird looks," might also be your imagination. I remember a friend saying something to me that was a little...
Please let us know how your mother is doing. I hope the procedure goes well.
I understand what you mean, Kyleden. If I'm going to buy something like contact lenses, I want to buy them from a reputable source like Lens.com.
I hope those monthly lenses are better alex01. I think you might be right and you're just not used to handling contact lenses after being away from them.
I thought "BF" represented two words, one word beginning with "b" and other beginning with "f." Like "best friend." For the life of me I could not think of a brand of contact lenses with two words in...
Lookee here. Glamour Girl mentioned Lens.com in her blog, and posted some pretty pictures.

She said "I...
I'm glad you found Lens 101 helpful. Now maybe you can be one of the helpful people and answer some other people's questions. There are still a few that haven't been answered yet.
Sorry those multifocal lenses were such a disappointment. Did you give them some time, or give up after wearing them once? I hope the good folks at Lens 101 can help you find the perfect lenses.
What are "BF Multifocals"?
So you're a Happy Camper these days?
Let's see here. According to Internet sources, Durasoft 2 lenses have a center thickness of between 0.07mm and 0.12mm, depending on their power, and for the life of me I could not find the center...
I hope that's not true Lucyfur.
Here's hoping your position strengthens soon. :)
Mmmm . . . hoofs, bones, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage.
Yes, I've heard a lot of people say that, although I've never ordered contact lenses from outside the US. Don't they take a long time to get to you?
Yes, I noticed that about the vial lenses. I wonder why they were discontinued?
This is true . . .
It's a good thing we're pretty tolerant of mistakes around here. :D
At least we've got the medications spelled correctly.
Yup, and they can actually forget that there are bits of plastic sitting comfortably under their eyelids.
So to answer Rawbob's question directly, you do not feel them rotating when you blink, right?
Keep those lenses clean, kids, and don't rinse them with tap water.
Osteons. Got it.
Did you follow Contact Lens Fitter's suggestion, kellyjam? Hello?
Maybe jacksoncris is saying that people with black eyes have the best vision, who knows?
Well . . . jacksoncris knows. If we can just get a response.
Thanks for all the great answers, folks. Keep them coming.
I think we have enough pictures of Tim Allen, though.
What do you think, lovecontacts? Is that a price you can live with?
Ha, ha! Yeah, I remember that guy.
Seven months and we still only have one post by kopidoo. Perhaps we aren't smart enough to merit a reply.
You've got it. Good work, akaivyleaf.
That's fine. I'll take it. :)
Hi Maurice_D. I hope you'll spend your time here answering questions about contact lenses rather than trying to sell them. If I want to buy contact lenses, I'll go to Lens.com.
We need as many...
If you have a different prescription for each eye then yes, you will wind up doubling the cost of contact lenses. Let's try and simplify the word problem.
"Akaivyleaf needs to buy contact lenses...
Thank you for that unique introduction, nitro907. Your screen name isn't related to Nitro-9, is it? If not you probably won't know what I'm talking about, and that's okay.
Look around this site...
"Each person is different." I think that's the main reason why this forum is here. People can come here and ask about unique reactions to contact lenses and associated products. They can say "this...
What brand of artificial tears would you recommend, Agustin?
Hi sleeper. There are special people like yourself who can sleep in contact lenses for long periods of time, no harm done. While others--like some of the members who have posted above--can't even...
I didn't know you could order contact lenses and specify the size of the pupil hole. I thought it was just base curve and diameter.
It shouldn't be a problem; when you order, the company--if they're any good--will call your doctor to make sure they can give you a 14.7 base curve even though your prescription says 14.8.
I'm sorry that those lenses are causing you problems. Are they uncomfortable? Can you still see clearly out of them? I couldn't find anything on line about a "membrane."
