It seems as though Google is no help when you want to search for lenses by cylinder measurement.
You may want to see about vial lenses. I believe those can be custom made.

If your eye doctor would be willing to do the prescriptions, I don't see why you couldn't wear your contacts that way.

I think Acuvue Oasys or Biofinity are good choices. I hope at least one of them works for you.

Quite often contact lenses take a few days to get used to. Like Beer Goggles said, give them some time to settle in.

It sounds to me like "minimize" means to wear your contact lenses as little as possible. Try that six hour weekend thing and see if your eyes are more comfortable.

I think if I were in your position I would do the same thing. As long as things look clear 99% of the time when both of my eyes were open, I'd say that was good enough.
