Just for fun I did a search about contact lens myths. One was about wearing them in the chemistry lab at school. Rumor has it that the exotic gasses that often waft around these labs can get in your contacts and MELT THEM ONTO YOUR EYES!!
![]() The truth is you're more likely to get some kind of liquid splashed into your eyes, and rinsing it out will be more difficult if there are contact lenses there. What was your school's policy about contact lenses in the lab? Could you keep them in and put on safety glasses or did you have to removed them? |
