Cleaning Softlens One Day

Since Soflens is a contact lens that is intended to be discarded after one use, will they be damaged if you try to clean them and use them for another day?

I definitely would not recommend that. There has to be a pretty good reason they are called One Day so I would not risk your eyes sight is so fragile anyways.

only 1 day acuvue can, because of its good quality, i tried to wear them daily for two weeks (definitly i clean them everyday), alwaya very comfortable.

but soflens one day and focus dalies can not, because they are very easy to be broken!

I don't mean to be rude here, but shouldn't "1 Day Acuvue" only be worn for one day?

I mean wearing a daily contact lens for two days probably won't kill you, but two weeks??

What does your eye doctor think about your attempt to wear Acuvue 1-Day contacts for two weeks?

that was 10 years ago, when i was a middle school studet, i knew my power, and bought the lens from an optical shop, wore myself.

now i will never try it again although i know to wear 1 day acuvue for two weeks may not make your eyes infected.

Yes, they will probably be damaged. That's one reason why they're called "one day"; because they're not designed to be cleaned. If you try to clean them, you'll damage them.
They're sort of like tissues. One sneeze and they're done. You wouldn't try and clean one of those and use it again, would you?

Would you clean one again and again for a week?

If you want to use something more than once to blow your nose, get a linen handkerchief, don't use those flimsy tissues.
If you don't want to just throw your contacts away after one use, get weekly or monthly contacts, please don't try to re-use daily disposables.

Ouch, yeah don't use them more than one day, that wouldn't be safe. They might release some chemicals after expiring, and don't work anymore.

It's not that they "release some chemicals," (At least . . . as far as I know.) it's that 1-day contact lenses are not fit to wear more than once, They lose their ability to transport oxygen to your eyes, and they are not intended to resist bacteria either, so you risk infection.

Look at this link for several good reasons not to over wear your contact lenses.
