Okay, this may seem to strain the fabric of reality, but it could happen.
You're on a camping trip and all you have for vision is the pair of SofLens One Day contacts that you're already wearing. No replacement contacts, no solution, no storage case. The final insult: you've already been wearing your One Day contacts for two days now. What do you do? What do you do? |

You take them out and deal with seeing without contact lenses. It would be bad to use a daily lens more than one day.

Better to remove it than risk yourself with probable infections and problems. That is the problem with disposable contact lens.

Thank you for your thoughtful replies to my hypothetical situation. It's agreed, then. Take the contacts out after one day and try to live without them.
Here's another question for this hypothetical camping trip. What's more dangerous, driving without any contacts or glasses or anything, or driving with expired contacts? By the way, you can skip the lectures about being prepared. In this hypothetical situation, it would be too late for lectures. Reading this post, however, may inspire people to be more prepared in the future. Has anyone started carrying a backup pair of glasses with them since reading this thread? |
