Default Mirrored Contact Lenses in Sports

I was reading an article today about "mirrored contacts." The name suggests a highly reflective surface on a contact lens, such that when you look into the wearers eyes you can see your own reflection.

In the article, it almost sounded as if they were talking about tinted contact lenses. I don't think mirrored contacts are allowed.

Can you imagine a baseball game where the pitcher is facing directly into the August sun, and he's using his mirrored contacts to reflect the glare into the face of the batter (Not to mention the umpire)?

Can you imagine the batter's point of view, with blinding flashes of light coming from the pitcher's eyes?
