Default Prescription Strength Spy Optics Griffin Sunglasses

Can you get prescription lenses put into the frames of these Spy sunglasses? If you can, do you just wear them all the time like regular glasses? What do you do on cloudy days, or at night?

I've seen enough people wearing shades at night and especially on cloudy or even rainy days that I'm beginning to suspect that some people never take them off.

As far as I know, these Spy sunglasses can be made with prescription lenses. Most people probably use them while they're driving. On cloudy days or at night they just wear their regular clear glasses.

At least, I hope so.

Yes, I know what you mean, Deepurple. I'd hate to think that people would drive at night and/or in the rain with sunglasses on, even if they looked as cool as those Spy sunglasses up there. It's good to know that a prescription is available.

You gotta be careful, or at least, don't be careless and drive at night with sunglasses on.

I would say be careful out there. Like James Dean said "The life you save might be mine."

Yeah, and you look silly sleeping in your sunglasses, no matter how cool they look.

If your bedroom is in black and white, it's even more so.

Yes, exactly. It will even drain the color from your skin.

Default Someone Please Explain

You know, I don't get this whole "sunglasses when it's not sunny" thing. When I commute to work in the morning, it seems that not a day goes by when I don't see somebody wearing sunglasses. It could be cloudy, raining or snowing and still, I think I see at least one person wearing sunglasses each day. Can someone please explain to me why they would wear sunglasses when it's not sunny?

There are spy sunglasses camera though that have interchangeable lens. So you can use the right lens that you want depending on the light that you are in.

I checked out that website and it said "Spy Gadgets are beneficial since they provide the needed tools a secret agent needs."

Something tells me that secret agents don't shop online.

I also don't think that such things are legal in the United States. Is there anybody on the forum who is familiar with privacy laws? Can you get arrested for secretly recording a private conversation?

I saw the funniest thing the other day. A guy standing in the rain with an umbrella and sunglasses! It was hysterical!

Even Renee Zellweger looks kinda funny with the shades and umbrella ensemble. If it's raining (and you're not a celebrity), why the shades? If it's sunny, why the umbrella?

Ms Zellweger probably had the umbrella because it was actually raining. The light in the picture looks a bit gloomy.

The sunglasses were likely to keep her from being recognized, but she still wound up with her picture on the Internet saying "This is Renee Zellweger."

An excellent point, Guiness. Maybe you should spell your name "Genius."

You're right, Guiness. It does indeed look like it's raining. The sunglasses were apparently a failed attempted to disguise her celebrity identity. Don't people go into acting so people will recognize them and say "You're Renee Zamwiggler!"?
