This is a common question, although I've not seen it here on Lens 101 yet. Time to post it myself, I guess.
![]() Let's say you've got someone wearing UltraFlex 55 contact lenses, and each time he goes for his annual check up, his prescription is bumped up a little. Slowly, over the years, his vision is getting weaker and weaker. Here's the question: will his eyes continue to weaken until he can't see at all? So many people report stronger and stronger prescriptions and then ask "Am I going blind?" but no one has ever said "Well, you might be." If they get an answer at all, it's usually negative. Are there any eye diseases that progress in this way? |
