No, I'm not talking about contact lenses that you can wear for ten years. This is a question about the history of contact lenses.
According to what my research, the first soft contact lenses were invented in 1961. In 1971, Bausch and Lomb made soft contact lenses available to the public. What happened in the intervening ten years? |
